With the glimmers of sunshine, comes renewed hope that Spring will come as March heads our way...
As always, we at Cygnini are planning ahead and right now we are getting prepared for the Easter weekend (which will be here before we know it!), when we hope that some sort of celebration can take place, even if it is just in our gardens!
With Easter being so early in April this year, our Easter events are taking place at the end of March, and we have loads of fun for you!
First of all, we have a fabulous Easter Bundle Workshop on 20/21 March! In these mega 2-hour+ sessions, we will create beautiful, rustic bunny bunting (above) and also some cute carrot treat bags to fill with little eggs for your favourite small people!
This session not only gives adults an opportunity to take some time out and enjoy crafting in a relaxed and friendly workshop, but it is also a family friendly session to give families a chance to create these things together. All are welcome :)
As usual for the longer workshops, a craft kit is provided for these activities, and makes a great Easter gift for a creative friend or family! Contact us if you would like a printable gift voucher, as we would be happy to oblige!

And then, at the end of March we are supporting the fabulous charity Three Little Birds :)
If you haven't heard of them before, make sure to check out their website! We really admire their work, particularly in mental health and that is one of the reasons we chose to support them. We strongly believe that creativity is good for mental health and rehabilitation, so it was a no-brainer to support a charity that does so much good work in this area.
They have some great podcasts, live chats and blog posts that cover different areas, so if you are feeling in need of some support, they are definitely worth checking in with.
Our Crafternoon is on 28 March, 2-4pm. We will be creating fabric sack bunnies, 3D egg decorations and an Easter pop up card. All of these are in sample production right now, so look out for photos coming soon. 100% of donations go to Three Little Birds and, once you have secured your place, all you need to do is gather your resources, grab a cuppa and sit and enjoy an afternoon in the company of some lovely people! :) Can't wait to see you there!
Donation-only tickets can be found here. Remember that "every penny counts", so it's about sparing what you can, even if it's a small amount, joining in and sharing what you did so together we can raise the awareness of this wonderful charity and they can help more and more people <3
We hope that the sunshine finds you over the weekend, and that you begin to feel that this state of lockdown will become more bearable once we can get outside, get some sun on our faces and not have to wear layers upon layers of clothing!
